Elkhart, Indiana Vintage Trailer Museum

Elkhart Indiana is home to the vintage trailer museum.  These pictures are from several years ago when we stumbled upon this treasure by accident.  I believe they have moved it now to a new location and newer building.  I'm hoping to investigate that more and maybe take a road trip this summer to see the new building.    If anyone knows or has been there recently let me know...

Nancy's Nighttime Vintage Trailer Extravaganza

It's time for a Party with the Vintage Trailers!!!

I had this party some years back... Wish I would have taken more pictures during the party when all the people arrived.

It was a great time... Have to put that on the list for this summer!!!

Those Wonderful Shasta Wings!!

These are not my trailers even those someday I would love to have more winged beauties.  I just love the concept of the wings as being so aerodynamic that they made the trailers easier to pull.....  So cutting edge in trailer technology.  The wings remind me of the wings on either side of "Mercury's" cap... god of speed....

I have several Shastas, but someone had removed the wings before I purchased them.  I know that I could buy some, but it never quite seems to be in the budget.  I'm sure there was a time when they seemed goofy and old fashion, so many owners removed them.  It's funny what now becomes iconic.  The wings are Shasta trailers Now.... Long Live the Wings!!!

Vintage Travel Trailer Party

Welcome to Nancy's Vintage Trailers....

Several Years ago I held a party with my vintage trailers .

It's so great how the popularity of vintage trailers have taken off.  I'm hoping this summer to get my little vintage trailer park back to it's glory days so I can have another party.  Iowa winters are hard on my little babies, but a large metal building never seems to be in the budget.

Thanks for stopping by my blog...
I'm hoping to post more this year.

I would love to hear from you
Nancy
